In the center room you can sit in front of an open kitchen where they make tortillas
on the comal. Before your meal someone will come make a salsa in a molcajete
(mortar & pestle) in front of you. You are also served a small memela with cheese
to try the salsa. Our first visit there was for breakfast, and we went back again
another day for dinner.

On our second visit to Tierra del Sol we went for dinner, and were able to get the same seat in front of the open kitchen area and the comal.
